Itinerary
Travelling to unaccustomed destinations always fill your temperament with joy! If you have a full moon light during your journey then that night the beauty of Haor (wetland) will surprise you by showing her own character.
In the rainy season, Kishoreganj turns into wonderful nature to its Haor Region. The Haors are distributed over six upazilas of Kishoreganj. They are joined to the Haors of Sunamganj District, Habiganj District and Netrakona District. During this season you can willingly move from one kemp to another by gravy boat without interposition.
Haor is a massive aquatic circle all around. You may find few boats are effectually hunting fish. Only the islet liking villages would be around you. It would be the utmost way to explore the Haor in the showery season.
Life in Haor is not that facile. They cannot do any plantation untill waters flow away. They only rely on catching fish and do no other performance. All the refine activities are done during exsiccate ripen, and it’s only once in a year. But during this season their internal transference is favorable. No other wishing is advantageous.
Day-1: Will meet you at your hotel lobby at 05:30am to pick you up, and will head toward Kamalapur Railway Station. Walk through the chaotic Kamalapur area and enjoy activities of the busiest railway station which never rests. The train leaves the station at 07:10am. Almost four hours journey by Egarosindhur Provati train to Kishoreganj.
Will reach Kishoreganj Railway Station around 12:10pm and we should not miss the chance to visiting the famous Sholakia Eidgah, the largest Eid prayer ground in Bangladesh. After taking lunch within 1:40pm by local food our half an hour drives toward Marichkhali Bazar by CNG. Then we move toward Itna Hour by reserved roofed boat for two days. You will enjoy the Haorside beauty sitting on boat roof. Before evening we will visit Gaibi Mosque in Itna. People do not know how and when it (Gaibi Masque) was built.
We will stay in an island village ghat near Itna and spend overnight on the boat.
Day-2: Early morning (within 5:00am to 5:30am) we will start moving toward Bithanol. Then After taking breakfast we will head to Mithamoin. When our boat will reach Mithamoin then we will visit the home village of our Honorable President Abdul Hamid. After taking lunch in a local restaurant our drive toward Nikli.
We will stay in Nikly at upazila bungalow or in a small hotel. In the evening there is no alternative to Sitting in Nikli embankment if you want to get a frosty and breathtaking air and blow your mind with sound of the waves.
Next day early morning we will back to Dhaka.
